Churchill is delighted to have raised a total of £504.56 for Midland-based charities through a number of fundraising events held in July. Through these initiatives, we continued to demonstrate our commitment in giving back to the local communities in which we build.
Three of our new developments across the midlands organised these events which saw the involvement of Owners, Colleagues, and local community members, all coming together to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
- Bower Lodge Shirley – successfully raised £200 in support of the Solihull Down Syndrome Support Group
- St Nicolas Lodge Kings Norton – raised an impressive £142.56 in aid of Birmingham Hospice
- Eleanor Lodge Knowle – raised a significant amount of £162 in aid of Acorns Children’s Hospice
The money raised included match funding through our own charity, the Churchill Foundation, doubling the support provided to the charities.
Regional Marketing Manager Bernadette Hennelly said:
“At Churchill, we firmly believe in the importance of giving back to the local community. Through our recent charity events, we have witnessed the incredible generosity and compassion of our Owners and Colleagues. It is heartening to see how our collective efforts are making a difference in the lives of those in need. We remain committed to supporting such important causes and will continue to organise initiatives that foster a spirit of unity and care within our communities.“
